The Genesis Block issue

From the Very Beginning, "BOB" was FUCKED.
     The Genesis block is INVALID and the whole chain is based on ignoring it, but creating a new one would mean invalidating BOB/BLOCK that's ever been.. Still I am in-favor of it because it would mean it's NOT JUST some STUPID broken piece of garbage. We'd no-doubt need to compensate everyone who's still Holding the Bag for "BOB", but that's a topic for another thread. 

I suppose we could LOCK this thread right now.. because I can't imagine any reason for not doing this. Still ...maybe we can run a dual chain in-wallet swap.. or some other insainly complicated shit.

Yes,  but is it truly a fatal flaw?  Or is it ok, since from block 1 on, all the check are in place.  Matt did do a shitty hack to avoid mining genesis blocks with Coingen.  He would be best to confirm whether this is a fatal bug or not.

Mind you, I only build coins starting with latest Bitcoin, and no PoS...  No gimmicks...
