Android Wallet

What about the Android wallet? 
   I don't know anything about it, except that the kid who made it, signed it in 'development mode' and as such it can NOT be added to the Google Play store ..which was like my only requirement (other than it working of course) ..and well it seems to work, but will it continue to work - or even better, can the "source" on the GitHub even be built - or is the release th eonly working instance.

AndroidDev is shit, his wallet is shit, fuck him.  If your coin isnʻt garbage, it gets supported by Coinomi, Exodus, etc...

Nowadays you build your own Android wallet if you have a shitcoin.  Worthy blockchains get supported by multiwallets, exchanges, etc...

Well sure... but have you ever run it?  That splash screen w/audio is a gasser.
Can't get that on Coinomi 'eh. 

I wonder how many coins have been re-born and re-listed or widly adopted after being de-listed and fallen into obscurity.  As cool as it would be ..to show up on Coinomi, Dobbscoin aught to be able to survive on it's own just in case.  And regardless of how total a failure the experience with AndroidDev was ..I have that wallet in a drawer holding a sizeable horde.
