THE ROADMAP TO ENSURED WORTHLESSNESS

Version 1.0  ·  September 16, 2026  ·  Issued by SubGenius.Finance.
Supersedes nothing, because nothing was ever promised.

Every coin publishes a roadmap. A roadmap is a document explaining how a thing intends to become valuable, written by the people who would benefit if you believed it.

This is that document run backwards.

(BOB) has been going for twelve years. In that time it has promised nobody anything, and we regard that as the single most valuable feature it has — which is fitting, because it is also the reason it has no value. We are writing the commitment down so it stops being an accident of neglect and starts being a specification.

Worthlessness is not a disclaimer we attach to the product. It is the product. Everything below is the maintenance schedule.

I. The Guarantee

  1. No returns are promised. Not by us, not by anyone acting for us, not ever. No projection, no target, no floor, no "eventually."
  2. No treasury acts on your behalf. We do not take in outside money and deploy it for holders. There is no fund, no allocation, no managed position, no yield.
  3. Nobody was let in early. There was no presale, no private round, no seed allocation, no whitelist of favored buyers. There will not be one.
  4. Nobody is working to make your bag heavier. Whatever we build, we build because it is funny or because it needed building. It is not labor performed on your behalf and should not be treated as such.
  5. Anything that looks like a promise is a joke. This has been true the whole time. It is now also written down.

II. What We Will Never Build

For the avoidance of doubt, and for anyone drawing up plans:

If a proposal requires any of the above to work, the proposal is for a different coin.

III. Where Value, If Any, Ends Up

Some things here move actual money around. This is what happens to it.

The rule underneath all three: value accrues to whoever did the work. It does not flow from our effort into your wallet, because that is the arrangement that turns a coin into a security, and more importantly because it would be a lie.

IV. If You Are Building Near (BOB)

You are welcome. Genuinely. Build the thing. Three conditions, and they are the whole list:

  1. Do not promise anybody a return on (BOB). Not in a whitepaper, not in a pitch, not in a Discord message at two in the morning.
  2. Do not describe yourself as official. You are not. Nobody is. There is no official.
  3. Carry your own risk. Your project is yours. If it makes money, that is yours too, and we want no part of it.

Under those conditions you may list (BOB), bridge it, wrap it, quote it, trade it, fork it, and put its logo in your token list — which is identification, not endorsement. We will not stop you and we will not take a cut.

V. The Dobbshead

The (BOB) logo travels with (BOB).
It appears in token lists, wallets, charts and pairs, because that is how anyone knows what they are looking at.

It does not go on your venue.
A Dobbshead in a token list says this coin is here.
A Dobbshead in your header says the Church built this, and the Church did not build this.

Nothing wears the Dobbshead without the express permission of the SubGenius Foundation, Inc.

VI. Amendment

This document may be amended. It may only be amended in the direction of promising less.

No future version may add a return, a projection, a treasury, an allocation, or a guarantee of any kind other than the guarantee of worthlessness. Each version is dated and kept. The old ones do not disappear, because a promise you can quietly delete was never a commitment — it was a marketing position.

Milestones

PhaseDeliverableTarget
1NothingComplete
2Nothing, at scaleComplete
3Nothing, but the block explorer is prettierIn progress
4Nothing, merge-minedBlock 2,000,000
5Nothing, foreverNo target date

Phases 1 and 2 were delivered on time and under budget. Phase 5 has no deadline because a deadline would imply something happens afterward.

We are aware of how this reads. A financial instrument that insists it is worthless, published by people who built a bridge, a mining pool and a block explorer to support it, is not obviously a coherent position.

It is coherent. We built the tools because building them is the fun part. The tools work — the coin moves, the blocks come in, the bridge holds. None of that is a claim that it should be worth anything, and the day we start making that claim is the day the interesting part ends and the tedious part begins.

Eternal Slack, or triple your nothing back.

Praise “Bob”.
